Founder and Executive Director Elizabeth 'Lisa' Retamozo began her journey in educational opportunity and TRIO Programs in 1994.  After leading multiple TRIO Projects as a Director for over 11 years, Lisa transitioned to providing training and effective technical assistance to fellow TRIO directors for the past 20 years.  Today, with a team of qualified consultants, NEC can support more agencies and institutions nationwide with a range of services designed to enhance the effectiveness of their TRIO Projects.  Each NEC consultant brings first-hand knowledge and experience from working within educational opportunity programs that serve youth and adults.
