Raquel Perez
Secondary School Consultant
Earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, Raquel paved her way over 20 years through nonprofit organization leadership and TRIO programs, ultimately becoming the Senior Pre-College Programs Director with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County.
Setting the platform for her career, Raquel tackled the development, implementation, and evaluation of work plans for a multitude of programs, eventually managing and directing such tasks to solidify her place in the educational realm.
Currently, along with holding the Associate Director role for Common Threads, where she manages the SNAP-Ed grant for the state of Texas, Raquel serves as a presenter in pre-college webinars and assists with proposal development as a consultant for NEC.
